This has to be the best Wetherspoo pub I've visited. Our local is a shambles and coming to Figure of Eight has highlighted how it should be done. The service and staff are excellent so polite and cheerful. The food was excellent plenty of chips with our panini and lovely and hot. We returned for breakfast the next morning it was absolutely delicious hot and cooked to perfection. Before I made the tea and coffee it was delivered to the table again by lovely cheerful helpful staff. Excellent spotlessly clean lovely staff and delicious food. What more could you ask for.

Enjoyed their breakfast hospitality. Absolutely spot on. This has set me up for the day. Oh, special mention for the Benghazi, on the same floor. No staircase required. Boom!

staff are extremely rude in this establishment. the manager can’t speak for himself and is very rude and dismissive. he didn’t listen to a single concern from anyone in our party and walked away. he cannot hold direct eye contact and mumbles under his breath. we weren’t treated nicely by any staff in this place. the manager had to get a one of his staff to come and speak to us as he could not speak up for himself. whilst his staff spoke to our party he stood like a coward behind her. the tables weren’t clean and the place stunk. the food came out cold and on one of our meals the chicken was pink. the pizzas were as thin as anything and absolutely caked in grease. 0/10 would not recommend. don’t come to this pub if you want to enjoy a nice meal.

I've been here quite a few times now and I think that the atmosphere in this place is brilliant. The outside is clean. The staff are very thorough when it comes to cleaning which I am very glad about It's a nice place to go with your friends. There is plenty of seating. It's not too loud in this place either My only issue is the food which it can be nice but more often than not. It is either undercooked or overcooked. This might just be my experience with it, but I at least recommend the drinks

Warm chocolate fudge cake is really tasty and not too sickly sweet like you can sometimes get at other restaurants. Service was fine but check your cutlery as when I got mine the spoon hadn't been cleaned properly and was just gross.
