Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.6/5) | Location: Olympic Way – 1 min from Wembley Park Station, 2 mins from Wembley Stadium
Finding great coffee near a major venue can be hit or miss, but Black Sheep Coffee nails it. Just a stone's throw from both Wembley Park Station (1 minute) and the iconic stadium (2 minutes), this is hands-down the best place to fuel up before an event or unwind afterwards.
Why It Stands Out
⚡ Prime Location – Impossible to beat for convenience. Whether you're heading to a concert, match, or just exploring, you'll appreciate how it's perfectly positioned between transport and the stadium.
🔥 Next-Level Coffee – Their signature blends (like the velvety Black Sheep roast) put chain coffee shops to shame. The flat white is consistently excellent, and their seasonal specials are always worth trying.
🧇 Waffle Heaven– The real game changer. These aren't your average waffles – they're crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and come with toppings that feel gourmet (the Biscoff one is legendary). Paired with a cold brew? Perfection.
The Vibe:
Modern but welcoming, with a mix of locals grabbing their daily fix and fans buzzing with pre-event energy. Even when busy, the staff keep things moving smoothly. Special thanks to the guys who always help me out with outstanding customer service ‘Daniyal’ and ‘Hardik’.
Everytime I walk in they greet with a smile and know that what I want so all appreciation to them too.
Small Drawbacks:
• Gets packed around event times (go early if you want a seat)
• Slightly pricier than your average coffee shop (but you're paying for quality)
Final Thoughts:
For a pre-game coffee, post-concert sugar hit, or just a reliable great cup near Wembley, this spot delivers. 4.6/5 – loses half a star only because I wish they had more space!
Insider Move: Their iced oat latte + a cinnamon waffle is the ultimate combo when you're rushing to a show.
Genuine review – I'd go here even if I wasn't stadium-bound!
Unfortunately, my experiences with Black Sheep Coffee have been consistently disappointing. The baristas seem undertrained, especially when it comes to making a proper macchiato—it's almost always served as a cortado or mini latte rather than the traditional small shot of espresso with a touch of foam. Despite specifying my preferences, they rarely follow customer notes, which makes for a frustrating experience when ordering.
Another issue is their portion sizes. A double espresso here is barely more than a single shot compared to other cafés, which makes me feel short-changed. This isn’t an isolated mistake—it happens repeatedly, making it clear that it’s not just an off day but a pattern.
If you're someone who appreciates precision in coffee-making and attentive service, you might find yourself disappointed. I had hoped things would improve, but after multiple visits, the same problems persist.
Calm, relaxed, good food / deserts with great Music and Atmosphere. People come to also, research, study and do a lil self. You can sit, indoor or outdoor and have a great chill chat with friends, colleagues or people there, if you dare to say Hi 😎
I visit the Wembley Park location whenever I am in the area and enjoy it. Service has never been the quickest, but has always been attentive and friendly. In my opinion it is worth it when you get a coffee that tastes what it is meant to, and not bitter, burnt or overly milky. Great atmosphere and lots of place to sit inside too.
Good coffee ☕️. We were about and decided to get something for breakfast; so I’ve tried only coffee and croissant, both tasted great.
Coffee maker girl was very nice and swapped our take away cups for ceramic ones without a problem.
Good selection of pastries. The place is nicely decorated with references to London. The place has tables big enough to use a laptop and charge your devices if needed. Outdoors seats. Tap water available.
Good vibe
