About This Pub

Ah, Black Sheep Coffee – it's one of those places that really grows on you, tucked away conveniently near Wembley where you can nip in after a match or just for a breather. From what I've gathered from folks' chats online, the coffee steals the show; it's bold and beautifully made, leaving you with that satisfied feeling after a cup. The vibe is spot on too – think calm corners for a natter with friends or even getting some work done with the free WiFi, and it's super welcoming for dogs and those needing accessible features. On the flip side, though, service isn't always flawless; some have mentioned baristas fumbling with orders, and it can drag a bit when it's bustling, which might put a dampener on things if you're in a hurry. Overall, it's a solid spot for coffee lovers, but if you're after a more traditional pub experience with pints and pub grub, it might not quite deliver. Still, I'd say it's worth a visit for the good bits – just go in with realistic expectations and you'll likely have a lovely time.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The coffee here is absolutely spot on – it's rich, flavoursome, and hits the mark every time, making it a top choice for a proper brew.
  • Its location right by Wembley Park Station and the stadium is brilliant; you're just a quick walk away, perfect for grabbing a drink before or after an event.
  • The atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming, with great music and spots to sit indoors or outdoors, ideal for a chat with mates or some quiet time.
  • Staff are generally friendly and attentive, adding a nice touch to your visit, and they've got handy facilities like WiFi and it's dog-friendly too.
  • It's accessible for everyone, with disabled access and toilets, so you can enjoy without any hassle.
Cons
  • Service can be a bit hit or miss at times, with some staff not quite up to speed on making certain drinks properly, which might leave you disappointed.
  • It can get a tad slow during busy periods, so if you're in a rush, you might end up waiting longer than you'd like.
  • The place is more coffee-focused than a full-on pub vibe, so if you're after a wide selection of beers or hearty meals, it might not fully hit the spot.

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.6/5) | Location: Olympic Way – 1 min from Wembley Park Station, 2 mins from Wembley Stadium Finding great coffee near a major venue can be hit or miss, but Black Sheep Coffee nails it. Just a stone's throw from both Wembley Park Station (1 minute) and the iconic stadium (2 minutes), this is hands-down the best place to fuel up before an event or unwind afterwards. Why It Stands Out ⚡ Prime Location – Impossible to beat for convenience. Whether you're heading to a concert, match, or just exploring, you'll appreciate how it's perfectly positioned between transport and the stadium. 🔥 Next-Level Coffee – Their signature blends (like the velvety Black Sheep roast) put chain coffee shops to shame. The flat white is consistently excellent, and their seasonal specials are always worth trying. 🧇 Waffle Heaven– The real game changer. These aren't your average waffles – they're crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and come with toppings that feel gourmet (the Biscoff one is legendary). Paired with a cold brew? Perfection. The Vibe: Modern but welcoming, with a mix of locals grabbing their daily fix and fans buzzing with pre-event energy. Even when busy, the staff keep things moving smoothly. Special thanks to the guys who always help me out with outstanding customer service ‘Daniyal’ and ‘Hardik’. Everytime I walk in they greet with a smile and know that what I want so all appreciation to them too. Small Drawbacks: • Gets packed around event times (go early if you want a seat) • Slightly pricier than your average coffee shop (but you're paying for quality) Final Thoughts: For a pre-game coffee, post-concert sugar hit, or just a reliable great cup near Wembley, this spot delivers. 4.6/5 – loses half a star only because I wish they had more space! Insider Move: Their iced oat latte + a cinnamon waffle is the ultimate combo when you're rushing to a show. Genuine review – I'd go here even if I wasn't stadium-bound!

Unfortunately, my experiences with Black Sheep Coffee have been consistently disappointing. The baristas seem undertrained, especially when it comes to making a proper macchiato—it's almost always served as a cortado or mini latte rather than the traditional small shot of espresso with a touch of foam. Despite specifying my preferences, they rarely follow customer notes, which makes for a frustrating experience when ordering. Another issue is their portion sizes. A double espresso here is barely more than a single shot compared to other cafés, which makes me feel short-changed. This isn’t an isolated mistake—it happens repeatedly, making it clear that it’s not just an off day but a pattern. If you're someone who appreciates precision in coffee-making and attentive service, you might find yourself disappointed. I had hoped things would improve, but after multiple visits, the same problems persist.

Calm, relaxed, good food / deserts with great Music and Atmosphere. People come to also, research, study and do a lil self. You can sit, indoor or outdoor and have a great chill chat with friends, colleagues or people there, if you dare to say Hi 😎

I visit the Wembley Park location whenever I am in the area and enjoy it. Service has never been the quickest, but has always been attentive and friendly. In my opinion it is worth it when you get a coffee that tastes what it is meant to, and not bitter, burnt or overly milky. Great atmosphere and lots of place to sit inside too.

Good coffee ☕️. We were about and decided to get something for breakfast; so I’ve tried only coffee and croissant, both tasted great. Coffee maker girl was very nice and swapped our take away cups for ceramic ones without a problem. Good selection of pastries. The place is nicely decorated with references to London. The place has tables big enough to use a laptop and charge your devices if needed. Outdoors seats. Tap water available. Good vibe
