About This Pub
Ah, Barocco in East Kilbride – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local haunt, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food's a real winner; think homemade dishes at prices that won't break the bank, like nabbing two courses for a tenner or a hearty baked potato with fillings for under seven quid. The staff seem to go the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome, which really gives it that community spirit – perfect for popping in with friends for a pint and to catch the latest match on the telly. On the downside, it's not all smooth sailing; there've been tales of meals not quite living up to expectations, with soggy chips and mix-ups on orders that left a couple of visitors disappointed. Still, with most folks singing its praises, I'd say it's worth a go if you're in the area – just keep your expectations in check for the odd hiccup, and you'll likely have a grand time.

Just enjoying a pint, and of course the weather 😊👍
Amazing home made food at equally amazing prices. There's no frills about this place but it oozes community friendliness. And the bar woman, Danielle, couldn't be more helpful. I recommend 100%.
Just had delicious meals here 2 courses for £10 , definitely recommend
Went for lunchtime meal deal. Staff assumed I wanted full portions of chicken goujon. With burger and fries. Asked if we were in for meal deal then told me she had already put on full portions. Nothing was cooked right. Chips were soggy and inedible. The burger was completely different from previous visit. And my lunchtime cost was £11 dearer than previous week. I never mentioned it as I knew it would be taken personally. Last week's visit was fantastic. This visit has left a foul taste in my mouth. Won't be back. Fart
I had some time to kill in East Kilbride and fancied a bit of lunch. I visited this bar and had a baked potato with 2 fillings and a can of juice. Total price £6.50. Also got to watch the football on the big screen.
I would highly recommend.
