About This Pub
Ah, Albert's Schloss – it's one of those places in Manchester that just grabs you right away with its lively Alpine vibe, where you're greeted by a warm, energetic buzz that makes you feel right at home. The beer selection is a real highlight; it's diverse and impressive, perfect if you're in the mood for something special to sip on while chatting with mates. The food doesn't disappoint either – think delicious, hearty dishes like schnitzels and sausages that are packed with flavour and come in generous portions, making it ideal for a proper feed after a long day. The live entertainment adds that extra spark, turning a simple drink into a memorable evening. On the flip side, though, the bar service can drag a bit when it's heaving, so you might find yourself queuing for that next round, and it does get packed, which could make it less relaxing if you're after a quiet pint. Overall, it's a gem for anyone wanting a fun, engaging spot, but I'd say it's best visited with a bit of patience and on a less crowded night for the full enjoyment.

Do you love beer as much as I do? 🍺 Then you’ve got to check out Albert’s Schloss — their beer selection is seriously impressive! Plus, it’s hands down the best bar food in Manchester.
Loads of sausages, schnitzels, baked goods, and proper pub snacks — all paired with a top-tier drinks list. They even make their own schnapps infusions!
Prices? Fair enough for a city centre spot. Service? Always polite and quick. And the vibe? Stunning! Gorgeous interior, loads of photo-worthy corners, and there’s always some kind of live show at the weekend.
Albert’s Schloss — highly recommend! 🍻💃✨
Albert’s Schloss in Manchester is a vibrant Alpine-style venue that combines hearty food with live entertainment. The menu features dishes like schnitzel, spätzle, and pork knuckle, complemented by a selection of European beers and cocktails. The atmosphere is lively, with performances ranging from live music to cabaret acts. The venue is spacious and welcoming, making it suitable for various occasions. Service is attentive, and the overall experience offers good value for money. For those seeking a dynamic dining experience in the city centre, Albert’s Schloss is a solid choice.
Absolutely outstanding food, service and cocktails. The staff went over and above to make you feel like you’re in a five star hotel. We will be coming back soon.

We recently visited Albert’s Schloss and had a great time overall. The ambience was fantastic—vibrant, lively, and perfect for a fun night out. The decor and atmosphere really added to the experience, making it a great place to unwind.
However, the service at the bar was quite slow. While we understand it can get busy, the bartenders took a long time to serve drinks, and one of them seemed a bit rude at times. A little more efficiency and friendliness would have made the experience even better.
That said, the rest of the evening was enjoyable. The music, the crowd, and the overall vibe of the place were spot on. With some improvements in bar service, it would be an excellent spot for a night out.
Fantastic restaurant with shockingly good food and great friendly service with a good atmosphere notably also.
But in any case the food is delicious and well cooked, with very generous portions! The shweinshaxe was great (and despite being huge somehow smaller than I’ve had in Germany) and the schnitzel was perfectly done too. As a garlic fan, the spätzle was of course a hit.
Atmosphere is lively and interesting as well as having great service means that it is basically always a winner (in any of the few locations)
I strongly recommend for pretty much any relaxed event.
