Spurs v crystal Palace May 2025, this stadium really lives up to its hype. With precooked tickets, access into the stadium was very easy with helpful staff. Having North stand tickets there were a selection of bars and a choice of beers and softs drink (for wines and spirits you mY have to do a bit mere research!) Food that I could see included burgers fries various pies and pasties but there were other choices if you took the time to look. Though there was about 60k at the match wait times was minimal I was pleasantly surprised staff clean and helpful, also asking if I had any food allergies big plus. The merchandise store was well stocked well attended and stocked. The live band was a big surprised throughly enjoyed by myself and the other fans. There are plenty of loos and were clean and tidy (big tick).
As for seating, I was in the upper North tier left corner looking down the pitch and the cockerel. There was no restricted view, and big screens in the corners p.A. system easy to understand all announcements.
Leaving the stadium was easy, I chose the staircase they were wide with hand rails and easy to manage.
We had an amazing leaving do party last night hosted by the vic main bar. The staff are top tier, so accommodating and friendly. It couldn't have been any better. The prices are more than reasonable and we could bring our own food and decorations at no charge.
I've also been in a few times just for a drink and it's always great (hence why we organised for the party to be here!)
I’ve been a regular at this pub for years, but sadly, I’ve stopped coming recently due to the new management. The vibe has completely changed, and not for the better. The new manager seems to have altered the atmosphere, and it’s just not the same pub I once loved. One staff member has made me feel somewhat uncomfortable with his conversation topics, being vulgar and inappropriate around customers.
What’s worse is the noticeable discomfort among some younger looking staff around him. It’s become clear that the environment isn’t as welcoming or friendly as it once was. It used to be a place where the staff felt like family, and regulars could count on a warm, familiar atmosphere every time they came in.
Now, it just feels awkward, and the fun, laid-back vibe has all but disappeared. I miss the old team and the way this pub used to feel. Until things improve, I won’t be returning anytime soon. It’s such a shame because it used to be my go-to spot. Hopefully, they can find a way to bring it back to how it used to be.
We booked a party with Sarah at The Victoria and she was very helpful throughout the entire process, particularly through the sudden changes when the original venue we booked had an emergency closure. Sarah found us a new, wonderful venue and rectified our stressful situation. The party was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, helping us set up before the guests came. Drinks were affordable and served very quickly. The venue was pretty, with a private bar for the night, and heated terrace for the evening (until 9:30) which our guests enjoyed. There is the space for a DJ, or to play your own music - just know to bring a headphone jack to plug it into their sound system. Overall, we had a great night at The Victoria, with 35 guests and plenty of dancing room. Thank you to Sarah and all the staff for a wonderful night.
Abit late but I wanted to leave a review
Last July I hosted a surprise birthday party in the back room which was the perfect space.
It was very easy to book, reasonably priced and bar tab expectation which was made very clear during booking. The communication throughout the process was great from the manager and staff.
Everyone loved the venue, also being in the back meant we had our own bar, and outside space.
There was plenty of space for me set up a buffet, dessert table, kids table and plenty of seating and dance area for approx 50 people.
Thank you again for letting me rent the space for my husband’s surprise 30th, he throughly enjoyed it!
