About This Pub
Ah, The Treasury Bar – it's one of those neighbourhood pubs in Airdrie that really pulls you in with its welcoming feel. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are just brilliant; they're not just serving drinks, they're part of the fun, pitching in with karaoke and making sure everyone has a good time. The music's spot on, there's space to dance, and it's all so affordable – perfect for a casual Friday night or catching the footie on their TVs. But, and there's always a but, isn't there? Some folks have mentioned the dress code being a bit of a head-scratcher; it's meant to be smart casual, yet there are stories of people getting turned away for wearing Adidas while the staff are in similar gear – feels a bit inconsistent, if you ask me. Then there's that odd tale of an older chap being kicked out for no real reason, which is a shame because it could spoil the otherwise friendly vibe. All in all, it's worth popping in if you're local, as long as you're prepared for the occasional quirk – you'll likely have a cracking time, but keep an eye on the rules to avoid any surprises.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond, like sorting out alcohol-free options or joining in on the karaoke for a laugh.
-
It has a brilliant atmosphere with excellent music, room to dance, and even a jukebox, making it a proper fun spot for a night out.
-
Drinks are well-priced and affordable, so you can enjoy a decent pint without it costing the earth.
-
Feels safe and welcoming, especially on Friday nights, with door staff and bar team keeping things lively and enjoyable.
-
A great local for watching football on the TVs, adding to its community vibe.
Cons
-
The dress code can be a bit inconsistent and confusing – no Adidas after 7, but staff might be in sportswear, which feels a tad unfair.
-
There have been some strange incidents, like older visitors getting asked to leave for odd reasons, which puts a damper on things.
-
The local singers can get a bit overwhelming and loud, potentially ruining the vibe for those after a quieter chat.

Went beyond the call of duty for a publican got me alchol free cider..definitely will be back..
Only go there on a Friday night for a few drinks. Staff are all lovely and friendly and also pitch in on the actives. Love that the door people take turns join in on the karaoke and can always have a laugh with the bar staff. Definitely recommend if you want a brilliant and safe night out.
Nice bar, but ma 60+ Yr old dad got kicked out for being part of the young team, very very strange. Dress code after 7 is don't wear Adidas but the staff will also wear sports wear. Also local singers burnt out ears off. Truly a cool bar if they slightly tweak the weirdness. They have a jukebox, so I heard the jam, scooter and then Olivia Rodrigo in a row which is fantastic.
The Treasury is under new management the venues are for 21s and over there is also a dress code. No trackies or shorts its now casual but smart
