About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about The Stump Cross Inn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local haunt, you know? From what I've gathered from the chatter around, folks absolutely rave about the great prices on drinks and meals, which is always a winner when you're out for a pint or a bite. The food sounds spot on too; imagine tucking into a delicious roast beef Sunday lunch or a Philly steak burger with all the trimmings – it's fresh, plentiful, and leaves you wanting to come back for more. The staff really shine here, with the landlady and team being so polite and chatty, making you feel right at home. Plus, the modern decor gives it a fresh, inviting feel, and it's brilliant for dogs and has loads of parking, which is handy if you're nipping in after a day out. On the flip side, it's a bit of a shame that there aren't clear operating hours available, so you might end up planning around that uncertainty, and the website's not the most reliable for getting the lowdown beforehand. All in all, it's a solid choice for pub goers looking for good value and a warm atmosphere, but do give it a ring first to make sure it's all systems go.
