About This Pub

So, I had a wander into The Premiere the other day, and it's one of those no-nonsense pubs that harks back to the good old days – think simple, affordable fun without all the fancy frills. The drinks are dead cheap, which is a real winner if you're just after a quick catch-up without emptying your pockets, and the staff are genuinely lovely, always up for a chat and making everyone feel welcome. Plus, you've got a dart board and pool table on offer for free, which is brilliant for whiling away an hour or two with mates. On the downside, though, the toilets are a bit of a letdown – they're not in the best shape, with no locks or seats, and it does take away from the experience a tad. The food situation isn't much to write home about either; that sandwich they had on display looked rather unappealing, so you might want to grab a bite elsewhere. And it's only open until 1pm, which is a shame if you're thinking of an evening out. All in all, it's a solid choice for a budget-friendly daytime stop if you're in Liverpool, but it could do with a few tweaks to really shine.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • Incredibly cheap drinks that make it a wallet-friendly spot for a casual pint.
  • Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere that really make you feel at home.
  • Free dart board and pool table for a bit of added fun without any extra cost.
  • It's kept surprisingly clean for an old-fashioned pub, which is always a nice touch.
Cons
  • The toilets are in a right state – no seats, no locks, and generally quite grim.
  • Limited food options, like that questionable sandwich that's not exactly appetising.
  • Only open from 9am to 1pm every day, which feels a bit restrictive for popping in later.
  • The crowd tends to be mostly men, so it might not feel as inclusive for a mixed group.

It's not glamorous, but it has a dart board and a pool table both for free. Very cheap drinks. Nice friendly pub.

New to the area, this pub is great. Fantastic prices, super friendly staff and the other people around are a good laugh too

Staff are absolutely boss. The pub is old fashioned but amazingly clean. Cant fault it.

Ok, so the bar staff were amazing! The booze was cheap, the other customers were lovely, although 90% men. The toilets had expensive loo roll, but officially the worst toilets I’ve seen in Liverpool! No loo seats, no locks, and grim! But with a little bit of effort on the loos… I’d change my review! Still enjoyed my afternoon, just didn’t pee much lol!

Lost for words really.... I've NEVER seen a photo of a thick sliced white bread sandwich... (Can't tell what's even in it.)... proudly displayed as the best the pub has to offer cuisine wise.... It's either ironic or the 'salaried' member of the team responsible for media & marketing needs to go on a course. Amazing.... Good luck.
