About This Pub
Ah, The Neighbourhood – it's one of those places in Leamington Spa that really tries to bring people together with its mix of street food vibes and a relaxed setting, and honestly, it does a fair bit right. You'll find some absolute gems on the menu, like the fish and chips that's been called the best in town, and it's brilliant for popping in with your dog for a bite, as the staff go out of their way to make everyone feel included. The atmosphere is just lovely too; it's buzzing on weekend evenings but turns into a cosy spot for a coffee and chat during the day, with heaps of seating that makes it ideal for everything from a quick meet-up to a productive work session. That said, it's not all perfect – I've heard a few folks mention how cold it gets inside, which can spoil the experience a bit, and the website doesn't always keep up with what's actually available, so you might turn up expecting more food options only to find it's mostly burgers and brunch now. Still, with a solid 4.1 rating overall, it's worth a visit if you're in the area, just maybe wrap up warm and check in advance to avoid any surprises. All in all, it's a solid local gem with heart, even if it has a few rough edges.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is absolutely spot on – especially the fish and chips and burgers, which are cooked to perfection and reasonably priced, making it a great choice for a satisfying meal.
-
It's wonderfully pet-friendly, with staff happy to accommodate furry friends, like serving up grilled chicken for dogs, which adds a lovely touch for animal lovers.
-
The atmosphere is spot on for casual get-togethers; it's lively in the evenings and cosy during the day, with plenty of seating and a welcoming vibe that's perfect for catching up with mates or even getting some work done over a flat white.
-
Service is friendly and prompt, with staff being helpful and polite, which really makes you feel at home.
-
It's conveniently located with parking options, and the overall concept of a community space for good food and events is quite inspiring.
Cons
-
The place can be freezing cold inside, even on milder days, so you might end up keeping your coat on the whole time, which puts a bit of a dampener on things.
-
Their website is a tad out of date and doesn't reflect the current food options, like missing the advertised stalls, which could lead to disappointment if you're relying on it for planning.
-
Food choices seem a bit limited these days, mainly sticking to burgers and brunch, so if you're after a wider variety, you might find it falls short.
-
Some recent visits have felt a bit underwhelming, with mixed experiences that don't always live up to the hype, particularly if you're expecting a full food hall setup.

To be blunt this place is a bit rubbish. They no longer have any of the food stalls advertised online. They only have the burgers and the brunch. When I said to the waitress that they should update their website she said “yeeeehh I know” and that was that. The place was absolutely freezing we had to wear our coats inside. You have to go up and order your food and drinks at separate till points. We ordered bacon fries which were supposed to come with bacon bits and baconnaise. They were cold for one, and they were literally just chips with a drizzle of sauce and then 5 full size bits of bacon just laid on the top?? The actual burgers themselves were tasty enough thank god but also didn’t come with everything advertised on the menu. I would NOT recommend this place.
Had a really lovely evening at the neighbourhood. Went to get fish and chips with my sister and son. We ate at the village chippy and all the food was perfect- so delicious, cooked to order and reasonably priced. Best fish and chips in town. Parling outside from 6pm too so that was handy.
The neighbourhood was really cool, liked the vibe. They had a quiz on. Nice place to hangout. Friendly staff.
Will definitely be back.
Would love to see some live music there, sure the place will continue to grow :)
Popped in today for a coffee. Ended up with a coffee and Halloumi burger each. Both were very nice and service was polite and prompt. We enjoyed our visit however couldn't remove our coats or hats as it was way too cold in there. Staff were happy and helpful.
Pet friendly place with great option of food and drinks. You can order on table. Ideal to book a table before you go during evening in weekends. Lively place at night, cozy place at afternoons. We asked for grilled chicken for our pup and they served it well. Must recommend.
Love the concept! I just had a couple of flat whites which were lovely and studied here for a couple of hours. So much seating to choose from, lovely decor and vibes for a great work space or place to catch up with a friend during the day. Looking forward to coming back on a day the food hall is open as it sounds fab.
