About This Pub

Ah, The Full Moon – it's one of those dependable Wetherspoon haunts that always delivers on value, tucked away on Dudley's High Street. I've got to say, the breakfasts here are a real winner; they're packed with flavour, from the perfectly cooked sausages to the bacon that's just how you like it, and that unlimited tea and coffee option is an absolute treat for a lazy morning. The place has a nice, clean setup too, with plenty of space and big windows that let in the light, making it ideal for a casual get-together. On the downside, it's not flawless – you might end up with a cold plate every now and then, and the staff could do with being a bit more attentive once your food's on the table. Still, with most folks giving it high marks, it's a solid choice if you're after an inexpensive night out, just keep your expectations realistic and maybe opt for the tried-and-true dishes to avoid any surprises.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • It's a cracking spot for budget-friendly meals and drinks – you get a lot for your money, just like you'd expect from a Wetherspoon.
  • The breakfasts are spot on; think tasty, well-proportioned plates with thick bacon and sausages that keep you going all day.
  • The pub's kept clean and tidy, from the bar to the toilets, making it a comfortable place to pop in for a chat.
  • There's a good atmosphere, with big windows and a relaxed vibe that's perfect for catching up with mates over unlimited tea and coffee.
Cons
  • Some dishes can arrive cold, like what happened with one order – it might have been sitting around a bit too long.
  • The service isn't always top-notch; staff don't always check back to see if everything's alright after you've been served.
  • Not every menu item impresses – the new ramen noodles didn't quite hit the mark for one visitor, so it pays to stick to the classics.

Some of the food I ordered was cold. Seemed like staff just forgot to warm it up or maybe it had been sitting in the kitchen for some time. Nobody came to check food was ok after being served. Drink was fine or would have been 1 star instead of 2.

Went for late breakfast, not expecting much... I was so pleasantly surprised by the range of food. The breakfast was very tasty, the bacon was thick and served how you wish. it fills you up for the day. Sausages are tasty You can't go wrong... they've got the ingredients and cooking times to a T. Beautiful

Good clean carpet and pub, as normal toilets are on another level , downstairs here. Good clean coffee machine area and bar. This spoons is a long narrow pub sloping down to a kind if a sun room, big windows etc and street with a parking area opposite. Great pub
