About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about the Hare & Hounds – it's one of those pubs that just warms your cockles from the moment you step in. From the reviews I've seen, folks are raving about the food; the cottage pie and Sunday lunches sound like absolute winners, with plenty saying it's quality grub at fair prices that leaves you wanting more. It's got that classic traditional charm, dead cosy and welcoming, especially if you're popping in with the dog or the family – they've even got bouncy castles to keep the kids happy while you sip on a well-poured ale. The landlady and her team really make it special, being so hands-on and creating a lovely, personal atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxed catch-up. But, to be fair, it's not all beer and skittles; there was that one off review where the fish and chips were a bit of a disaster, leaving a bad taste and making someone feel ropey, not to mention the cost feeling steep for it. Still, with an overall rating pushing 4.6, it's clear the good far outweighs the bad, so I'd say it's well worth a visit – just maybe steer clear of the fish if you're feeling adventurous!

Pub is lovely if you just want a drink. Food on the other hand not very nice me and my partner had fish and chips which tasted like washing up liquid and made us feel instantly sick. Wasn’t worth nearly £50🤮
Lovely quaint, village pub. Great atmosphere 👌
Tasty food 😋
Really nice village pub, staff and regulars are really friendly. The menu goes for quality over quantity. The roast dinners are cracking. I am slightly jealous of people who could call this their local.
This pub had come on so much. Brilliant Landlady, Staff & Chef. Please try the food or drink and atmosphere.
Excellent service / menu and quality food at a reasonable price would definitely go again. Very cosy, traditional dog friendly pub.
